Ok, i got a question about body mods. my 93 civic lost its front bumper in a deer incident and i had to get a new one. i went from a blitz to a buddy club and to me the new bumper looks good from the front but crappy from the sides. no matter how i adjust it, it has a bad looking incline towards the from of the car. i am going for a low aggressive look especially in the front air damn area wich the new bumper is NOT doing. i was thinking of making my own lip on the bottom and sides of it with wood or styrofoam and coating/smoothing it with fiberglass resin. are all 92-95 civic bumpers going to go up in the air like that? anyone got any ideas? thanks

the buddy club front seems to be naturally like that for 5th gen civics. What you should do is make a mold from styrofoam and make it with fiberglass.

Trade them for stock body parts so it doesn't have wood and shit hanging off it?

i am a fan of the stock look of a civic front end. esp when it is lowered.

some aftermarket lips for the factory front bumper look really nice too.

if they are so hot, would u do them? i think we all know the answer for that, and now we have to wear bandages, i like the stock look with lips and oem fogs,5g and 99-00 fogs rule

Yeah I agree, I mean, look at that VVVVVVV I would never trade my front end bumper for a ugly aftermarket front bumper. It's, it's...... perfect(except for the scratches.)

How about cardboard? It's cheaper and will prolly look just as good

well if u r gonna make a lip for it w/ fiberglass, don't use styrofoam. the fiberglass will melt it way before it hardens and u'll have a blob

not if you use tape to tape up the styrofoam as a barrier.

If you are planning to make your own lip, check out this thread. It is a thread that discusses how to make your own body kits, lips, etc.

DIY Body Kit Thread (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=100027&highlight=DIY+Body+Kit)

Also, if you need advice on making your own lip, you can pm lkailburn. He has made his own fiberglass lip before.

BTW Ricochet, funny picture, LOL.
