E55 high speed acceleration run

i posted this thread in the videos forum and the mercedes form, but i thought it might be a good idea to post it here also.

here is the video of a mercedes e55 amg accelerating close to top speed. if u download the movie it shows the car going up to higher speeds than if u just stream it. for kph conversion do: km/h / 1.6, and u'll get the mph equivalent.

takes about 12 seconds for this one to go from 100-150, and the c32 in the other thread takes about 20.

bone stock car guys, this is some impressive shit! looks like he has more left due to the fact that the speedo is still steadily gaining and gaining.

mercedes will derestrict their cars up to 186, but i have never seen what one can do after they take off the above mentioned limiter. supposedly, the e55's gear ratios will allow it to go up to 210 or 215.

In the video he went up till about 175, and he was at redline, I don't really see how he could go till 210, unless he still had another gear left or something

im not saying he went 210, right click and save the file, and when u play it he will go up to 308 kph.

308kph = 192.5

my point was that the e55's gear rattios would theoretically allow it to go 210. i never said it could in fact go 210. 200 might be a different story :)
