Toot Noise

I Am New To This Forum So Dont Think This Question Is Stupid .when I Take Off Thier Is Thi Noise That Is A Squeek That Goes Toot Or Bruut. This Is A 2000 Gmc

My 01 sierra does the same thing, a friend has the identical truck that does the same thing, when you take off, it seems to come from the left rear, almost like the rear end is slightly shifting over a bit. might be the rear u-joint. it is like a chirp or a squeak.

It might be the slip yoke

Its torsion bars shifting. It took a while for me to figure that out on my friends 2000 GMC. It worsens when you lift the truck.
