I have a burned out fog light. I want to replace with a brighter cleaner bulb but not go as far as replaceing the light housing or wiring. Just need a brighter bulb that will work in the OEM connector.

If you are thinking about going with the Silverstars,Id go to your local Walmart and buy some Cyber white's, they are the same stock size and are much brighter and only cost 39.95 for a new pair of driving lights.
I just installed my NV-602W Pilot Cyber Whites from Walmart, and its the best 39 bucks I have ever spent! Finally decent lighting! Well anyways, the most difficult part about this mod was the brackets of course, since I needed a way to install these things securly. Once I figure it out, It was real easy to install. The picture below is real self explanitory, so for all you visual learners, here is a how to guide on how to customize the brackets.
Just cut the fog light bulb holder off cause there is no use for them anymore, we are just using the wires that go to the stock bulbs. Cut the plastic part of the wire so that you can see the actual copper wire, now the black wire on the fog light goes with the black wire, just slip it in little hole that the fog light has at the end of the wire, make it come out from the other side of the hole and fold it down and thats not going to go anywhere. Same thing with the white wire, but connect the white wire with the blue wire, put it through the little hole that the end of the foglight wire has and let it come through from the other side and fold it down.
Thanks for the Instructions from Amoroso

i found some bulbs on ebay that are 893's which are 37.5watts. will the extra 10w do damage to the foglight housing? they state that the 893 is also known as the 880 bulb.
