Well 99civichic is building the turbo stang for our friend and i decided to replicate his other car. He has a 94 TT supra that has been repainted a brighter red and has a clear (factory was a one stage) and we're thinking of building a diarama of his garage for christmas if we can have them finished in time. Here are a few pics of the body so far, it has 2 mist coats, 2 wet coats and 2 coats of clear so far with lots of polishing. I might spray another clear but still undecided. This car probably has the best shine of any car i've built so far...Lets hope i dont screw anything up :iceslolan
Anyway only a couple pics for now but you'll get the idea.

I know the bottom on the side is supposed to be black and stock supras the bottom front lip is black but his has been painted red to match the body and give it a "lower" look. Also i painted the calipers to match the body and the middle top of the cam cover and also the bottom of the car is a very rough paint that matches the car (which is also as i was told, accurate to stock supras).
Thanks for looking and feel free to comment on things to remember or how you feel about it.

I agree with your decision to leave the lower parts body color--it really does seem to lower the car, although assembly will be the true test. The paint job looks good, but it's hard to tell how good from the pics.

No the sides of the car will be black. Like the actual car, i was saying that on his car the bottom lip on the front only has been changed from red to black so i'm leaving that red. I'm trying to get this as close as possible to his actual car.
This is will69camaro by the way.

Looks good. What hot little motor mods you got in store for it?

It's going to get no real motor mods...It's going to be stock replica of his car...His car has painted brakes (body color) painted cam cover (body color) , trd exhaust, and that's about it...Its a bad ass supra and it's the one that got me hooked on supras and made me want one...Its not modded but it has a few small things and will go deep 12s :) One of the most fun cars i've ever driven...and i've driven a few.
