For those of you who don't know (or if ya care :P ) my husband, Alex, has been working on his Roadmaster project car pretty much since he got it 2 years ago. Just like his Neon, before it was FINALLY finished it ran around with 8 different colors of primer etc. Well the Roadmonster, as we lovingly call it, has been running around with a few shades on bling as well
So this past weekend Alex decided it was time to add some more primer:
When we brought it home:

After doing some body work and adding wheels:

Bagged in the front end :D (rear to still be done one of these days!)

And now............................................... ..
More bodywork:

Playing dress up :D
http://azroadmonster.com/uploads/primer/DSCN4688.JPG
A little beauty spritz:
http://azroadmonster.com/uploads/primer/DSCN4693.JPG
And oh so pretty!

Well we've crossed another bridge with this car. Hopefully sooner than later the rear end will be bagged. He ordered a Dakota Digital gauge for the air pressure. He also custom installed a console from a Buick Riviera and will fabricate something for the gauges in that. More updates later on :)
Enjoy!

The only thing that I don't like are the drug dealer wheels (you know the think chrome ones). I don't have a problem with some nice aluminum thin wheels, but I don't like those

SWEET!
Needs the doorhandles shaved though.
That is exactly what I would do if I had that car! GREAT WORK!

Love the rims, not feeling the car though. I'd rather see more work done to classis and make them PIMP. But to each their own, have fun

The rims are ill, but the paint job is whats throwing me. It should be a really dark navy blue...Craaazy!!

I love it. I'm not into American sedans anymore, but I still enjoy looking at them. Great job. What color can we expect when it's done.

Thanks for the compliments :D The point of the pics is just to show where we are at in our progress. It's been a project 2 years in the works, and probably be ongoing for a long time.....mortgages and living expenses tend to put a damper on the free-flowing cash ya know
As for the final color, Alex is not sure. He goes back n forth between 1 color, 2 tone with a small graphic pin stripe to separate the colors etc. Whatever color he decides will determine if the handles come off. I think the handles need to be there to break up the monotony if he goes with a single color. But that's the beauty of photoshop....we can play with many different ideas :)
When I had my Neon I always photoshopped wheels onto it before I bought anything. I still miss that little beast, but I don't miss all the weekends planned around it breaking :lol2:

I know nothing about bags, but is there any way to raise and lower them while keeping a 0º camber?

Not that I know of. When Alex gets the car aligned, he has to set his car at the ride height he wants (he's has a gauge that tells him where the pressure is at) and get it aligned at that height. He went without gauges for awhile and ended up chewing up a set of tires. Dropping the car that low is strictly for fun/showing off, (and occasionally dragging on someone for ownage :lol2: ) and he does raise the car up more than ride height if there is a nasty bump or angeled driveway to deal with.

J swigz- it was the initial shock that got to me, I apologize for that outburst
It looks better than some lowriders, and with the LT1, it ought to eat lots of rice.

hmm... I wonder if it would be possible to create an active suspension that aligns itself according to ride height? $$$

Damn nice...love those rims and agree bout the door handles being shaved, at least I think but then it might be too much smooth surface.
