Submit Spoiler suggestions, please.

My birthdays coming up next month and i want to get a spoiler to finish off the exterior styling. Help me decide what to get.

Please can peeps attach pics of any sugestions with links and maybe pricing?

if I had to choose between those two, I'd take the first one, kind of Skyline like.

the first one is off a Subaru Imprezza. the cheapest ive found is £325 thats $465 US

im more in favour of the second, Mitsubshi Evo 6, heres a better pic. thats priced at £249 thats $356 US

My brothers just changed his Imprezza spoiler to the one in your first
pic, he paid £250 (from Scoobysport I think, I'll double check today)
Anyway he's still got the original (see pic) if its any use ?

That first spoiler is badass. who makes it? any idea if it is possible to fit it on our p11's? I would take a new spoiler too, if we buy 2 we save, hehe.

the double wing (pic 2) is not for our cars. I've seen a pic before of that kind of spoiler on the p11 and it makes the car look like a jumbo airplane.

i think the first one is better, but don't really like either one! sorry.

ive managed to get the second (evo6) one a bit cheaper. i dunno, i do like the imprezza one but its far more expensive, but the evo 6 is more aggressive i think.

anyone else got any other styles they think will look nice before i buy one of these????

Nismo makes one especialy for the P11. It might be a too much, but I think you could find a cheaper one for another car and make it fit easy enough. Then add some LEDs :D

problem with the skyline one is that its featured on a saloon whereas mines a hatchback, does it still apply???

the evo6 spoiler is 123 cm leg to leg, my boot lid is 110 cm wide, so it looks like i might have to go with the majority and go for the imprezza one if i dont find anything else.

Nope. The Nismo one covers the full length of a sedan trunk which is longer than your liftback. ;)

Personally I dont like either one, but we're just silly Americans with different tastes over here. :D


Have you thought about a touring car style wing? Seems like it would fit (and look) better with your body kit which looks like a touring car. I dont think it'd look too great to fit one of those WRC style wings off a Scooby or Evo.. :bloated:

Ill be the black sheep here. For YOUR CAR I would go with the second one, it matches the styling of your car better than the first one. They are both a bit much for me, just my opinion, but the Nismo one is PHAT!!! That one would match YOUR CAR the best!

Thats what I used to think, till I put a stock one on...man, the difference is subtle but I really like it! Its just a little more agressive but really enhances the lines on the car.

im in love with that spoiler, it think it fits perfectly, even though it makes it look like a shopping cart :p

If I had to choose from those two, I'd choose the second one. It seems to match your front. But personally I don't care too much 4 either. That's just my opinion. I got an Erebuni M3 on mine & i LOVE it. I don't know if it will fit a hatchback.

ive thought about it before, but im not keen on the style.

ive now tried on the imprezza one and it will fit. it looks quite nice too so i might go for that one.

I really dont think any of them would look good. If it was me i'd go for a touring car type wing

your not the first to sya that Warren, but i dont hink its my style, i just dont like them to be honest, theyre too square for the lines of the car, just my opinion. Some do look good though, but those cars are either touring cars, or seriously done up with stickers and banner, but on a day to day car, i think i'll just get laughed at.

I think that the impreza spoiler would suit the car more as Ithink that the Evo is maybe a bit over the top. But thats just my choice,Iprefer the subtle kind.

Well If you havent got it by now.....
Not sure about the scooby or the EvoIV on the back of the primera, basically as the primera isn't a rally style car. Touring car is more suited, but like you, I'm not a huge fan of em.

Few suggestions.... (spot the guy with a demon tweeks catalogue by his PC)
Thought about the all-alloy e-tech jobbies? Touring car-esque but not too dominating.

Vectra GSi style? Pretty chunky, would suit the lines of your car well though thinking about it you have the venting on the side of your front bumper, so it might look a bit like your copying the vectra gsi all round....

The big hooped "evo" (not mitsi evo) style ones. Just if you fancy something more curvy.

Feel like going really alternative? Have a look at www.mynheer.co.uk
Though it's designed for a rover 400, the half height "vorlon" spoiler might just be for you. Talk to 'em and seem how the measurements match up, you might be in luck.

Failing that, go with the scooby one you've got there, seeing as it'll fit, and more importantly, you like it.

cheers for that, and Welcome to AF!!:) I too have been looking at the new Demon Tweeks catalogue and i was supprised to see how much cheaper the ETech spoiler are there, theres only one of them i do like a bit, and that is the twin level one, but still, not my style.

The kit you pointed out (varis) has been on these pages before, one of the US guys may know where you can get it from, and i agree, the skirts are nice, fancy some myself.

This would be the Wings West G20 thruster style on my g20. i looked around and this spoiler just seemed to fit it best.

I personally like the stock wing, or nothing at all, like the clean look as oppose to the ricie look...

I also prefer my G w/o a wing. But it's what you like so I really have no say. Just keep in mind that: Big wings are for planes. Big wheels are for trucks. Altezza style tailights are for Lexus IS... :flash:
