does anybody know of any way to disable the speed limiter on a gtp w/o buying a reprogramed PCM?

You'll need a new PCM to remove the speed limiter.

I believe OEM is 126 mph due to the tire rating.

I know they take the speed limiter out. The computer has to have a number to set at. So, it is set at 255.
And speed rating is 149; http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/brochure/info/tmpInfoSpeedRating.jsp

I don't care how it works out. All I know is it helps your car move, FASTER.
Also found out that they have some tires rated at 189 MPH.
