2004 Lancer ES...nice car?

Well im not gonna buy a car now but im saving up money im wondering if their a nice car for getting around and eventually upgrading. I would get an Evo but I just dont have the funds.

i have one, here are some pics. i love my car. it's definately not an evo though, lol. just te basic bolt ons and get the suspension done right and you'll be set.

it depends what upgrades you're eventually planning, if you want to make it something that would be feared on a racetrack then its probably not the right car, but if you want a car that can be upgraded to handle decently and have enough power to get out of its own way, then its not a bad choice

Not a racetrack car nut something that can hold its own on the street with some ups.

i doubt it could hold its own without dumping a couple thousand into it.

yeah, unless you put more than the car's worth into it you're not past maybe low 15s or so. i'm just guessing there. but it's good for cruising and the monthly autocross.

yeah man i would just like to know what size rims and tires u have on ur Lancer ES? Are they 17x7"s?

yup, 17x7 and a 205/40 series tire.

you wont get further with the lancer than the grocery store, for serious grunt you need an evo or a dsm.
