I just put a Pioneer cd player (in dash) in my truck, and low and behold the adapter kit in the center of the dash isn't stable enought to prevent skipping on our awesome Canadian highways. obviously I need to connect the brace at the back of the unit to the vehicle somewhere.
Ny question is, has anybody else done this themselves and what is the best way and location to do it. It looks to be a super tight fit (too small for my hand) if I come up from underneath after the unit is in place, but obviously you can't do it while the unit is out.
HELP!!!!

If you had the factory tape deck, you can do what I did and take the plastic peg off the back of it, and screw it on to the back bolt of the cd deck. You may have to adjust the metal bracket in the dash at the back a bit or you can shorten the plastic peg a bit. Thats all I did and no more skipping.
Hope this helps.
