What is the cheapist kind of way to fix rust up. Its eating away at the body

well if you feel pretty confident you could file it down,put some rust neuatrilizer junk on it and fix it with some fiberglass or.. bondo (yuck) and then repaint it with some cheapo spray paint+clear coat. I did it on my rear quarter panel of my accord and it turned out pretty nice..couldn't tell it was dif.unless you really got close. Body shops charge you quiet abit to fix rust spots, especially if it's ate through all the way..:(

yea i have rust on one side that's gotten pretty bad, debating on whether or not i should bother with fixing the body on the car because of the cost

I've been debating doing the body work on my car too. I don't really know if it's worth all the headache. I have to fix the sunroof somehow soon though. I've learned that plexiglass isn't holding up... duct tape on the cracks is getting old fast.

Cut it out and weld in a patch pannel. Your quick fixes wont last long. And dont give me the "Well my brothers uncle Floyed filled his up with cardboard and bondo, and it lasted 40 years" bullshit. I'm smarter than you.

When I do the body work/rust repair on my car I'm just going to drive to Queen City, Texas and have TheSilentChamber do the work while I feed him rufees and postwhores... LMAO!

Sand blast it and put(Cant rember brand name) primer for bear metal on it befor normal primer, has held on mine(Not my unkle bobs) for over 2 years.
