91 240 SX exhaust diameter?

Hey guys, I got a new 91 240 SX SE coupe, love her and am wondering what size diameter the stock exhaust piping is?

2" I believe.

Yeah. its somewhere right around there I think too...Any Nissan sites that say for sure?

I have the exact same car. It's so great. It's even fun to drive in stock form. Get a ruler out and get under the car. Or a measuring tape.

I think mine is pretty unique in that it doesn't have A/C or a sunroof...Pretty odd in a "SE" model...
I am pretty happy its so clean...No rust, so tight...But...
Its not as fast as my old 91 Coupe I had before, even though the only dif in modz is the other one had a "test pipe" It would get sideways easy even with nice sized 16" rims/tires...
Mine now has a new CAI, fresh clutch, fresh tuneup...Custom exhaust (Cat back) with what looks like a Stillen SS muffler...The resonator is already replaced.
Is yours modded at all?

Mine is still bone stock. In about a month or so, I plan on getting the Injen cai, and the RS-R race springs with KYB agx shocks. Probably some strut bars after that. I am building my Civic into a race car so my funds for the 240 are very limited. Plus I don't want to be hasled by the cops. SoCal has been very bad to me. I have 4 points on my record, so a car that is loud and stands out is out of the question right now until my record cleans up in 2 1/2 more years. My Civic is going to be strictly a track car, so it won't be getting me in trouble. I hate my sunroof. It leaks and since I'm so tall my head hits the lower roof. It's the one thing I don't like, but someday it will be gone, with a little custom metal work. Good luck on yours.

Cool, I will eventually get the AGX's too...I think I am going to go with some new 16" rims & high performance tires next...that and a front strut bar should help the already good handling...
I am considering just replacing the stock old rubber bushings on my sway bars with new poly bushings...

I don't like any issues with the cops ether...My exhaust is almost too quiet...
