annoying noise

I just recently replaced my alternator and alternator belt. The belt still keeps squealling and chewing the belt up. I have no idea what could by causing this. Thanks, cody

uh for the squealing you could use a little bit of silicone spray... thats wut my cousin did for squealing and it did the job. chewing up? where's the belt gettin chewed up, on the sides or in the middle?
