I think this should be up for more than 1 day. I'm sure there are people who will vote but don't come here everyday. Like with the vote to change the forums back, it took almost a month for some people to vote. I mean not that this thread should be open for a month (or even a week) and it is on a more heavily traffic'd board. I just think there are quite a few people who come on here that I haven't seen post today; maybe keep it open a day and a half or 2 days? Just an idea. But I voted.

Yeah I think (my opinion only) the thread should be kept open till this evening or night at the latest. There were definently more votes in this thread than in the nomination thread. But I just noticed that GScivic7 did change his signature, so I'd assume this is definently the last day.

Yea I'm sure by this weekend a new mod will be crowned.

Not to be nosy but how do exactly become a mod in the first place? There isn't really anything that describes the guidlines for being one.

Usually, current admins and mods choose new mods when they feel it is necessary. But since our moderator team in these forums are constantly MIA, I took the proactive position and decided to start making changes. Brought it up with Aves911 and he said to go through with everything.

I'm leaving this poll open until Friday evening, probably shut it down at like 8pm PST (in true electoral fashion lol) and I'll submit the top 4 to the admins that night. They will go over nominees with the current mods and decide who will be mods for each forum.

Remember, this poll is for mods for the 92-95 forum only, the 96-00 and 01+ each have their own nominees even though there are some repeats between the 5th gen and 6th gen forums.

Okay guys it's been done. I just sent Aves911 a pm with all the candidates. I didn't include the number of votes everyone got because I don't want this to be a popularity contest. The admins and current mods are going to choose who they see best fits and make them a mod.

Also, one member here who's name never came up will hopefully become a global Honda mod.

you were nominated for this forum too. I got nominated for this forum and the 96-00 forum too. So we both have our names on both of the nomination sheets for both forums. I can pretty such say that you and Beastiek2 are a shoe in for your respective forums, it's this one that is up in the air.

If you think this is a long wait, whtteg was supposed to be made a Mod in the Integra forum about a month ago. Think the admins are just really busy lately; like with the log-in problem and other stuff I'm sure. If they said they were going to do it, then I'm sure they will eventually; when they have time to figure it all out. I mean it's only been a week since GS sent in the list of candidates. I'm sure they'll git 'er done.

I hope we get a mod soon I dont wanta see good members leaving.

Either they are just taking their time or as Rico said, they don't want any of us to be mods. Which is fine by me, but they need to appoint someone damn it.

Well, the mods have been chosen. Aves said that he is finishing up the controls etc. for the new mods. We are getting 3 new mods woot!!! They will be notified soon.
