V6 camaros are not very ballsy. It's good that you beat one, good win. I didn't know SL autos would squeal second, that's nifty.

there are a whole bunch of camaros in this area how do you tell which ones are the v-8 with 300hp +?

Well idk about camaros, but w/ Firebirds it's the ones that have 2 exhaust outlets AND say trans am or formula on them...the 6's will say firebird. Most 6's have 1 exhaust pipe, but some "high performance" 6's have 2, look for the Firebird written on the front fender/door. Also the sound, probly the same with camaro and z28.

Automatics are faster than Manuals ?

lol they CAN be he said. Like if your drag racing on a track, you want a modified automatic so that there will be perfect shifts, eliminating the chance of misshifts and human error. But for the average car, the automatic isn't geared or built for speed, it's built for smoothness and efficiency.

need headers too man...or all that's for nothing. Unless that's what you mean by downpipe, 3S'ers confuse me with that, cuz everyone else says headers and downpipe, and 3S'ers just say downpipe and I don't know if you're just talking about the downpipe or the header too.

am just talking about the na downpipe i heard it makes 8-10hp from the downpipe and 6-8hp from the test pipe

I would keep your cat, your car doesnt have a cam that can really take advantage of the low backpresure from no cat. You will most likely lose quite a bit of low end torque and only gain a couple HP up high.

I think that the viscous nature of torque converters makes for a less instantanious transfer of power than with a clutch.

open your hood, decide what you dont need. Remove said items.
repeat as needed to other areas of the car.

IM not an expert, but i would imagine letting off the gas between gears and then slamming it when it shifted would probably slam the gears, which isnt usually good, but hey if it works for you and you havent had to replace the tranny yet....more power to ya...
