I got a 93 sundance and rebuild the 3.0 v-6 in it. Once I got it running the trans does not want to shift when you get on it good. If you drive it normal it shift a little slow but fine. I put a new filter and fluid in it. Maybe a vacuum leak? I don't know much about trannys....please help

please explain a little better, it does not shift at all ....... drive it normal it is slow shifting? it stays in gear longer than it should? if that is the case there should be a connection between the throttle and the trans, called a kickdown rod (or cable) ether you forgot to install it or it needs adjustment

It won't upshift when you are accelarating hard.....when driving normal it shifts fine. Is there a vacuum modulator on these trannys or are they all electronic?

they are all electronic, the shift points are controlled via a connection between the throttle and the trans, double check it, disconnect it and see what happens, should shift real quick if I remember

I adjusted the throttle and when I was under the car I noticed that there were 3 sending units on the trans. any Idea what they are? I know one is the saftey switch but what are the other 2?
