Worst Movie

This is a natural progression, folks.
Whats the worst contemporary movie you have ever seen?

How about the worst movie of all time?

For me, the worst contemporary movie I have ever seen was 'The Master of Disguises' with Dana Carvey of SNL fame. It's a truly horrible stinker.

Popular opinion says the worst movie of all time was 'Plan 9 From Outer Space', (made by Ed Wood, back in the early 50's). It's so bad it's funny, especially if seen with friends and some drinks........

IMHO the worst movie of all time is an obscure thing called 'The Terror of Tiny Town'. This putrid pile was made, I think, in the late 1930's. It was, get this, a western made entirely with adult midgits riding Shetland ponys.

Star Treck (if u count that as a movie?)

The ring (blah, it was a piece of crap)

Nah, Star Treck wasn't a movie.. Star Trek was though...... which is bad :grinyes:

Worst movie ever has to be fear.com or Ishtar.

The worst movie I've ever seen is Deathrace 2000 (I think that was the name, if not something close). I remember Stallone was in it but this had to have been made int he early 80's. I think the worst contemporary movie is Rollerball, what a flaming turd!

The ring (blah, it was a piece of crap)

watch the ring with someone who can explain the parts you dont understand, that will change your opinion of the movie. i think it is one of the best movies i have seen.

i honestly think that anchorman was the worst movie i have seen. (i was sober, so maybe that was my mistake)

What a stinker!
Those girls were wearing WAY to many clothes in that flick.
If they were naked, it would have been Oscar material!

Are you kidding me? Wow. Magnolia? Really?

I'd say any Ed Wood movie, of course, the movie 'Ed Wood' was excellent.

Gigli, I read the word "lesbian" in a plot summary of the movie and thought little else. I soon realised that I had to sit through it and that was rather torturous.

I wonder if Taxi'll be able to top Gigli for lameness? Time will tell.

Magnolia. What a Pile of shit.
I second that. Spice World also sucked. What was that Britany Spears movie that came out a few years ago? That had to suck. Oh yeah, the Ring was a decent movie and they are making a sequal. The original Ring was made in Japan. It also had a sequal, maybe a 3rd and 4th film but I can't remember. Anyway, the Japanese versions of the movies are kickass, so I hear. Check 'em out.

Oh yeah, how can you say Anchor man was the worst movie you saw? There are sooo many other pieces of steaming monkee poo that are better contenders. I love Anchor man! Love it! I guess its just one of those movies that you either love or hate. BTW, I saw it sober, twice. Will Ferrel is a comic genius, imo.

Jokes!!! I can remember reading a Mad or Cracked magazine eons ago when I was little, and it was a worst case scenario type theme where you walk into a video store and the only two rentals left are Howard the Duck and Ishtar (LOL - never seen that shit but man does that make me laugh!! - Howard the Duck was cool though, in addition to Star Trek II & VI fuckers!!! :flipa: )

Worst recent contemporary movie I saw was Scary Movie 2 or 3 I think - the one where they're stuck in a house with that hunchback guy. So pointless.

Worst movie of all time for me... Nothing But Trouble - 1991 Dan Akroyd & John Candy. These fellows (Candy in particular) had put together some of my all time favourite comedies from the 80's, before this garbage.

Personally I think comedies tend to have a greater opportunity to be bad, because at least with serious or action type movies if it gets stupid or unbelievable you can at least laugh at how bad it is - whereas a comedy thats not funny is a lot harder to laugh at. :2cents:

Uh.. hardcore? The movie is a parody/homage to classic, 'pulpy' films of the 60's and 70's. It was intentionally farfetched and quirky. The LAST thing it should be described as is 'hardcore'.

Back to the point, MST 3K and Pulp Fiction are great movies, and series.

Pulp Fiction is classic - I love that classic Tarantino dialogue (think he tried a bit too hard in Kill Bill(s), but man is it timeless in Pulp Fiction)

Donnie Darko is a really good movie too... its a mind fuck. You'll be thinking about it long after the movies done.

If you just pop it on for 15 minutes it'll seem like garbage... but if you watch the whole movie and pay attention, by the end you'll be glad you did
