a good tip all should read

My '99 eclipse gs has been very hard to start and idles rough. I plugged in a cpu and got several codes. I replaced the idler control,throttle position sensor and electronic coolant sensor,fuel filter,fuel regulator and spark plugs. The car still would not run right. After several days of fustration i took it to mitsubishi. I come to find out that not all after-market sensors are compatible with the eclipse's cpu. It was the after-market ect sensor that was bad. So beware if you buy sensors from stores such as autozone, advance, napa, ect. Buy it from mitsu... a few bucks more will save alot of headache and work.
