Hey

Ok this is stupid but i cant to do anything about and i need help. I am trying to change my rotors and pads(on a 1997 VR-4) i did my driver side and everything went good i put everything back together and from my stupidty i forgot that i already took the other calpier and pads off (on the passenger side) and i go and i hit the brake so my pistons will tighten up, then because there was no brake pads infront of the pistons on the passenger side my piston came out (but the whole didnot popout) . now it dosent want to go in, i pushed and pushed it with a C-Clamp but it dosent want to go in or out. Please help i really need help.

I don't know what to tell you about your piston problem except use lots of lube ;). And for an image it can't be on your computer, you have to actually put it on the net somwhere, go to your gallery on AF and upload the pic and then use the URL that it makes for the pic displayed below when it shows up in your gallery.

Well whats changed about it? Did you damage it or the hole it goes in by applying pressure with noting to push against? Ohh and what kind of rotors and pads did oyu get? Its something I've thought about doing.

Not a problem, from what I can see, first off, did you take the cap off your brake fluid reseviour under the hood? Do that, and then just get the c-clamp in there and go slowly but do your best...it should work, just make sure the cap is off under the hood.

I already done that but it dosent want to move the other ones i pushed them in with my hands but this son of a bitch dosent want to go in.

I bought very expensive brake pads from autozone its called PFC Zrated pads
My rotors i had to get from this place called BigO tires i dont now if there is one in your state my pads were $135 and my rotors were $85 i think.

Unscrew the bleeder screw to relieve any pressure on it and then try (you'll have to bleed it). And have you tried turning it in like a bolt. I know a lot of rear caliper pistons are threaded and you have to turn them to get it back in. If it's not the threaded type, just keep working at it with the C-clamp and it should go. Keep moving the clamp to different spots on the piston (top, bottom, left, right), at first you might not think you're moving it at all because you can barely see it, but it's moving, it might take a few minutes of doing this, but there's no reason that it shouldn't go in if the pressure is relieved.

nothing comes out of the passenger side bleeder but i did the driver side i guess i try agin to bleed it and try again and again to push it back in.
How can i turn the piston, what should i use to turn it with becasue i couldent do it with my hands.
Thanks For the help everybody
Oh ya to just let u i guys now i just went to dealer and they told the caliper only one of them cost $349.95. Aint that something!!!!!

umm you'll have to find something to turn it, if there's no slot to put something in to turn it, then it probably doesnt turn...on one of my previous car's I used the edge of a crowbar, but from your pic it doesnt look like there would be anything to turn by. Now i'm thinking about what I said to do before...opening the bleeder won't do too much to relieve the pressure by itself...you may have to pump the brakes w/ the ignition off to get rid of the vacuum reserve (keeps pressure in the system), until the pedal gets hard...then try...that stupid piston should be goin in!
