2004 Electrical Problems????

Hoping someone might have had similar problems, I am having problems accumulate with my trailblazer that might all stem from an electrical problem??? Its a 2004 and I have approximately 10,000 miles on it, seems like every week another problem is added to my list:

My signal lights aren't working, my hazard lights dont' always work, my gas gauge is malfunctioning, my door locks sometimes dont' work, temp gauge on mirror malfunctioning, onstar voice activation shutting off on its own, service engine light going on and off, reduced engine power light going on and off, then some none electrical problems, a couple seatbelts sometimes stick where you can't get them out to put on, and truck lurching forward in very low speeds.
Dealer won't give me a rental until its been in for over a day, so I haven't been able to bring it in since they won't let me sit with it during the day, I have children to shuffle back and forth to school so this has not allowed me to get it in :( .
Anyone have any possible ideas or had similar problems? I am at my wits end with this hunk of junk and GM and the dealer not being helpful at all as far as getting it in and my having something to drive.

First and foremost find another dealer!
Call the GM owners assistance number and have them help you locate a dealer that will work with you.
Not all dealers are the same.

Thanks have been round and round with GM Customer Service, who haven't been one bit helpful, we have now tried to deal with two dealerships. :( GM will not override the dealership and will not cover rental until its been in over a day. So.......until I can get it in problems accumulate.

Sounds like you have a problem with the Serial Bus on the car. I'd check the BCM connections to make sure they are clean, as it is the main "controller" on the bus....

Don't forget the liftgate module as well....it has a lot to do with all of these functions also. If the car was ever hit in the back, you might have a problem with it that the repair shop never fixed.

When I had my 03 Trailblazer, I had alot of electrical problems when it came to the door locks, the windows, that type of thing.

But, my biggest problem was the gas cap!! It was faulty from the start, kept causing my "Service Engine Soon" light to come on every 2 months like clockwork, and after a year and a half and 17.000 miles, it was starting to idle roughly.

I found Jim Smith Chevrolet, in Chestnut Ridge NY to be condescending and ignorant of my problems with it.

If you've taken your Trailblazer to be repaired for those problems a minimum of 4 times, check into getting it replaced via the Lemon Law. Sounds like yours qualifies

I have had similar problems on a 92 Full sized blazer I had. The gauges would work sometimes and not at other times as well as having some really weird readings. The lights would cause more problems and at times it would die. The problem was a bad connection at the alternater. I would check the battery terminals, grounds, and the positive connection to the alternator. Low voltage and bad grounds tend to make sensitive electrical devices do realy strange things.
