It all depends on the rider and the tuning. There is no way for us to even TRY to project any of this.

prolly low to mid 9s.

well he didnt say how big we're talking on the NOS, but a pro rider could crack 8's with that setup, right?

doubt it. it'd still be mid 9s with an expert rider/racer. many busas can hardly accomplish 9 sec flat with NOS/Turbo, from stop to 1/4 mile. the brutal peak power of these bikes just doesn't show until higher in the range. in motorcycle racing, one tenth of a second of gain in performance is considered a big deal. imagine going 10 sec to 8 sec.

sure you can modify the bike to an extent, but it will take someone really experienced to keep the front wheel down and send all the power to the ground. this is why drag bikes are set up differently.

thats why i was thinkin the wheelie bar would get you into the eights... i seriously think with that setup a pro rider can hit the 8.9's

I think 8s are possible. Hell Ive seen Busa's and 12Rs hit mid 9s with Pipe/PCIII, strapped, gearing and a few other minor bolt-ons (and a pro rider).

breaking 8.5 is feasable but very unlikly all that power goin to the back wheel on such a short bike, compared to drag bikes, b/w waiting for ur tire to grip, front wheel coming off the ground and the whole being a pro rider thing. So id agree with the general concenus with of high 8's low 9's.
