Got a 93 civic hatchback vti. recently slammed into a curb pretty hard going about 40 or 50 on the right side. front right tire seemed to kinda lose air. Put more air in it and could see that it was leaking from the bead but seems to hold air now..... weird huh?. After that my steering starting to act funny. seems like i lose control of the steering sometimes. Like it has a mind of it's own. Like when i hit a bump it jumps or when i slam on the gas steering kind jumps to the right. The steering wheel doesn't shake or anything so i didn't think it would alignment but i dunno. oh yeah have power steering. Any suggestions???

Duh. Take it to get checked out. Really common sense is lost sometimes. You hit a curb at 40-50 (mph or km/h) and you think the car is ok?

the tire probably lost air because a) you hit it hard enough to temporarily deform it causing air to get past the bead or b) you bent the rim

and if you hit a curb going that fast you almost certainly bent something.

go get it checked out before you kill someone

we'll took my car in they couldn't find anything with the alignment and nothing was loose. He took it for a drive and said there might be something wrong with the rack itself. We'll of course they don't mess with that so that sux. he said something about adjusting the gearbox or replacing it cause the steering won't return to neutral and is loose. Does this sound good to you guys?
