87 4.0 Would Like It To Start Faster!

I just bought a 87 jeep cherokee and i noticed it was a little slow on start up. I was wondering if anyone knows if i add a msd ignition will it give me a faster start. It takes a few seconds to turn over and winter is coming, im a little worried that it will take longer in the winter and would like to fix this problem before it happens. also i would like to add keyless start and would like to do it by myself any tips on prices or problems would be appriciated. Thanks

A red top optima speeds my jeeps up. An MSD sounds exciting as well. Also I have seen remote starts/w window and lock controls starting at $60 yet have not installed one.
