Resetting the 'miles until service' message

Forgive the 'stoopid' question. I have a '98 JGC Limited with the 5.2 V8. I just had the oil changed (not by a dealer) and the message display still says 0 miles until service, and the alarm dings. What is the proceedure for resetting the display?

Process of elimination. Press either one of the buttons for a few seconds, it'll reset the countdown to 3,000 miles. I just can't remember which button it is. I want to say it's the "set" one, but seeing as how there are only two buttons, it won't take long to narrow the field of choices.
