I don't have the kit nor have I seen it, but I've had a hand in a friend's 1:1 '98 Cobra. What are you stuck on?

I just want to know if a kit a friend gave me has all the parts for the engine. I'm having trouble with the engine block. There seems to be a space (way too large)in the middle. right above the main part of the block ( in between the valves/valve covers of each side). I know that the intake thingy (sorry) with the horse logo on it goes on top, but I feel like something has to go underneath it.

Just compare it to some photos of the real cars engine ;) if it has something your model doesn't then you know you are missing something!

If there's a hole in the top of the block, there should be something to fit into that hole, usually the intake. If there's a peg in the bottom of the intake, that's probably what goes there. On the '96, the intake might be in two peices (it is on the real car) so there's a chance you're missing the lower intake. Kits usually don't come with big holes in parts unless there's something that goes in that hole!
