ok i plan on getting a system but i want to run it off its own separate battery, ive heard that most people recomend yellow top optima and that cool. i dont want to get into capcitors or what ever n shit.
but how exactly do i run this? i mean are thier any safefy regualtors or anything? and is the wiring as simple as it seems?(tho it never is) lol
as in how exactly do i hook it up to the battery, this will be my first system so its new to me even tho ive been listening to all the forums and stuff, just reading around for a while.
ill be running two 12's and one amp
and i know my choice of sony will not be appreciated in here but money is a little issue. so that what im stickin with.
any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

here is a rule of thumb, when running a sony amp it wont put out half the rated wattage and therefore will not need the extra battery capasity

lol, well i wouldn't say that bad, but if its just for subs, sony amps will suffice until you want to upgrade. as for the battery, i'd say don't get a new battery, just replace the one you have with a yellow top. there isn't really a point, it won't make it easier on your alternator or anything. but i wouldn't want you to mess with a capacitor either becasue they suck and really don't fix the problem, just mask it.
