COMPLETED BY MY 2 SONS!!

My sons Nathan and Dustin (ages 10 and 8) completed their first glue together model tonight. I sprayed the body for them, and helped them with the 2 large decals on the side. The rest was done completely by them. They even used Need For Speed Underground to pick the color that looked best with the red decals supplied in the kit.

Dustin wanted the seats to have elephant skin decals by SMS, so I walked him through making the templates out of masking tape, and placing them. He picked it up quick and did a great job. There are some parts of their build I am envious of. Their headlights came out 100% better than mine.

Please be gentle. They'll be reading any comments after they get
home from school tommorow.
If they keep it up they'll be whooping my tail at model contests!!

Thanks for looking! :)

Coolness! :sunglasse

Now everyone knows your secret to building so many models in such a short amount of time. C'mon, out with it...we all know you've been getting the boys to do your sub-assemblies, right?! :icon16: :evillol:

I guess your modeling budget has just tripled overnight?! Good to see gasoline running through the veins of the next modeling generation.

Just beautiful! I love the color scheme. The seats are especially impressive - and close to the funny patterns Honda likes to put on their seats! A great model, for sure, and if they can get those wheels on they're ready for anything any model kit can throw at them. I love the last picture, something I'd expect to see in front of Food Lion out in SoCal. Great work!

Can we see more pictures of the red/white/blue Integra? Those are really nice. I've been getting my son into modeling, too. He built his first one last year when he turned 9. They learn quick those little ones.

Thanks for all the great responses guys, I can't wait for them to get home from school and read all this. They'll be excited!

It was a fun experience supervising them. Answering all the mechanical/technical questions they had was a challenge. But they learned a lot.

I finished my Teg almost a year and a half ago. Ironically, it was a birthday present from my sons. The thread for it is here:
