Fuel mileage degrading

ever since august, my ranger's fuel mileage seems to be getting worse and worse. it was getting 25mpg before and now its getting about 20-21. i've checked tiire pressure and the air filter and nothing seems to be wrong with those. could something be wrong with the fuel pump? i like to rev my car alot, so could this account for it? any help would be appreciated.

When was the last time you changed the fuel filter?
