Formula Help

Whats up i have a 1995 auto formula (lt1). Couple days ago when i took her out for a spin, car made strange noises. Whenever i get to about 4500 RPM's, the car will start making a lot of popping noises (a couple per second) and then will stop after it shifts. Whenever it does pop it looses a little bit of power. Any suggestions??

Yes it is hesitating, only when it pops though. Was told by someone who said he had the same problem to change spark plugs and wires so will givce that a try. But yes it seems like its cutting out a little bit whenever it pops...=\

Yeah , its backfiring which would make me think its a ignition problem. If the plugs and wires haven't been changed in a while that should fix the problem.

possibly water in gas? try a dry gas or water remover. and throw in some fuel injector cleaner.
