Good. Unions need to be taught they can't just run around and be cry-babies. Sure they were good in Henry Ford days but now the necessities are covered by basic human rights. All unions do now is artificially increase wages (which doesn't help) and discourage local business.

This is the first time I've ever seen a government take action against a union, and it makes me happy.

As far as him being singled out, it's no different than Martha Stewart. Sure, lots of people may insider-trade - but very few are as watched and/or media-covered as Martha, so she ends up getting the bars.

Unions aren't good nowadays? You must not be aware of the working conditions in Asia or in Mexico to name a few. These people will be unionizing very soon. They need to.

Sorry, perhaps I should have clarified, I don't like unions in countries, like the US, Canada, or Australia, that have quite strong human rights regulations. Thus why they were good here back in the aforementioned Henry Ford days. The countries you mention need human right regulations more than anything, but for that to happen, they will likely need unions. I just hope they don't start the typical whining and fuss after regulations are in place, as they have done (and are doing) here.
