2003 Power steering

Hello, my wife's Jetta gls keeps going through PS fluid or so it seems. It does not appear to be leaking when parked as there is no evidence of leakage. The car has been in an accident in the past, but has been fixed and checked out ok. Several weeks after the accident the front end was screaming when making left turns, as it turns out, the PS fluid was low. Anybody got this one figured out?

Perhaps it's leaking into the rack boots & just hasn't made it out yet.
