The Nexus gauge series is currently scheduled for a January release.

As for pricing, the individual gauges with senders will sell for
approximately $199-249.00 each. The Sensor Module and Remote is sold as
a kit for approximately $199. This is required for Nexus gauge
operation.

The initial lineup is for the following 7 gauges:

6455: Water Temp (100-260)
6459: Boost/Vac (30 In. Hg. / 30 PSI)
6445: EGT (0-2,000)
6453: Oil Pressure (0-100 PSI)
6456: Oil Temperature (140-300)
6474: Nitrous Pressure (0-1600)
6463: Fuel Pressure (100 PSI)
6400: Sensor Module + Remote Control

a tachometer will be available in the early Spring of 2005

They aren't on ebay, or in their product line. They are a ricer's wet dream, and I can't say that I wouldn't like a set of them.

Looks pretty slick. Kinda seems like a new and improved version of Defi's D-Link system.

I have a quick question about Autometer gauges, and I don't want to start a new thread :) . Anyways, my autometer phantom boost gauge has crapped out on me. It has now started to read 2-3 psi when the car is OFF. I've also noticed my boost readings as being erradic and inconsistent lately, about the time when the gauge started showing boost when the car was off. This obviously means it's screwed up. It has worked great for me for the past few months, but has just become gay as of late. I did some reading on dsmtuners, and apparently this is relatively common with autometer gauges.

Some people LOVE autometer and have never had trouble with them, while others absolutely HATE autometer. I even remember reading about a couple of guys that went through 3-4 autometer boost gauges until they just got sick of it and went with another brand. Is it just the Phantom (cheapest) series that are more prone to break, or is it any of their series?

So now I'm in the market for a new boost gauge, as well as an oil pressure gauge. I really like the Defi gauges (non D-link) because they are really good quality, but they are expensive as hell ($120 for the boost and $180 for the oil press!!). I just want a reliable gauge, nothing fancy like peak/hold and playback stuff, just something that will continue to work like it's brand new.

I need some advice - stick with Autometer or spend the extra coin for Defi?

Defi doesn't have anything on autometer except for fancy options. There are some good gauge companies out there if you want to spend the extra money. Westach comes to mind. http://www.westach.com/products.htm#AUTOMOTIVE

Thanks Joe, I'm really considering Westach since their gauge quality is top-notch (according to most reviews), and they really aren't that much more expensive. I'm also considering VDO, since I've heard good things about their gauges as well, and they are not expensive at all.

Damn those Nexus gauges are sick! Especially how the gauge lights for the red line. I dont see the practicality of havin multiple light options tho, cuz ur just gonna pick a favorite color anyhow or one that matches ur style, but hey still very COOL :iceslolan

DANG i neva heard of gauges (like these) that will simulate what your peak rpm was.. That could be seriously handy for gettin ur racing down.
