Wow, some of those drifts are insane though. There was that on drift he was sideways in a staight line for a reeeeal long time. Plus who tries those things in SUVs though?

it's pure stupidity IMO. a waste of cars, a total lack of care for human life or other's possessions (evidenced by the cars doing this on a PUBLIC road with other motorists driving around, and also the cars spinning out of control into crowds of people and/or other people's cars) and i really doubt it requires much talent to go really fast, yank your e-brake and hope for the best.

Very true, I have seen real street drifts in Okinawa. Not sanctioned events, just ten or fifteen cars ripping up an idustrial area. Good stuff. To be honest, some times it turned out a little like that video. Still fun to watch.

Are they using their own cars?.....Lord knows I would never do that with my car. What a waste.

I disagree. It's not drifting, but i've seen a lot of these types of clips (not the bloopers) where the drivers show remarkable control of the vehicle. Although i absolutely agree that it's reckless to do this kinda shit on public roads.
