I am nearing the time when the timing belt and water hose are reccomended to be changed. Should i try to do it myself or spend hundreds of dollars to get it done? I could just go to the local honda dealer in town and buy these two parts, but should i risk my lack of any motor work knowledge to save big bucks?

it's water pump, not water hose. if you don't know anything about motors, DON'T do it. unless u read up on it w/ LOTS of detailed pics, because two teeth off could kill the engine. 200-400 to have it dun right, or 600-1200 to have it fixed. u'r call
