I want you to have a friend read it out loud to you:
"....i was wondering about the what i need to do this if i got goth cars mostly wondering about the motor mounts and tranmission mountsany info would be great thanks" If not a friend, then read it out loud to yourself. I am just trying to help you out. I'm not here for English 101. Keep in mind that your the one needing help here, Mr I shouldn't be under the hood of a car.

That is the thing, I do not know what you are asking. Can you re-write your question geez? If you cannot take the time to check spelling/grammer why should I take the time to explain on what to do?

He's wondering what he needs (mostly parts wise) to get the b18a into his '95 CX. You're being way too picky. If you seriously can't read and understand what he wrote then don't bother even trying to help. All you're doing now is trying to start shit and get an argument going.

Here is this better: "I think i am going to put a B18a1 in my 95 civic cx. I was wondering what i need to do this. If i got the cars, I'm mostly wondering about the motor mounts and transmission mounts to use. Any info would be great, thanks."

Come on, I'm not trying to start an argumnent or as you put it start shit. When you write something, it's a good idea to read it out loud to yourself to make sure there isn't bad grammer, that's all I said. I have done a lot of work on cars and found a lot of things just by accident. I have no problem sharing my ideas and findings. If you can't put 10 seconds of effort and time into writing a statement then me asking for clarification should be no biggie and not intended to break anyones heart.

I have a 95 civic cx also. The motor is now blown so i have decided to upgrade since i need a new motor anyway. Before i select the engine though, i need to know what all is required to swap in a motor that has vtec. i will be selecting an engine that bolts into the car, but i dont know what wiring, programing ect is required for it to work properly as i have no experience with ecus or swaps in hondas.

Next time start your own thread if you have questions. But even better, do a search before asking questions. Clearly people do engine swaps everyday so one would assume that the answer would have been covered about 100 times already.

It all depends on what vtec engine you're talking about. If you're talking about a SOHC motor, like the D16Z6, then it will be easy to do. If you swap in a DOHC it will be hard as hell to do. No, I'm just screwing with you; it will be just as easy. For a D16Z6 look here: http://www.hondaswap.com/~pills/obd1guide.html For B-series look at this: http://www.ff-squad.com/tech/wiring/wiring.92-95.jpg You can use either a complete harness form the new motor or your existing harness. If you use the CX one, then you need to convert the 1 wire O2 sensor to a 4 wire one; here: http://www.hybridautomotive.com/tech/o2/#one

I'm not sure there's B18A1 engine or not. So I assume you're either talking about B16A1/A2 or B18B. Be aware that B16A1 is an older engine and you might not be able to swap to that engine legally in most U.S. states.

B16A2 will cost you more than B18B. And if you don't have anyone to help you do the swap, be prepare to pay alot more for the shop to do it for you.

What I want to say is, state where you're located and maybe someone around your area can give you more accurate pricing and maybe the shop can do it for you.

:disappoin Yes there is a B18a1 engine. Don't you think someone would have corrected him after the first post if there wasn't? The b18a is an old LS engine.
