2000 Dodge Ram Won't Start

The engine turns but won't start, the battery is fine and the fuel pump is working, the past couple of days it had problems starting and eventually felt like it connected or something and would start, but today nothing. I recently drove in high water, could there be water in the distributor or is the crank angle sensor? I'm just hopping its not the timing because I have no idea how to work on that on my own.

See if you have spark at the plugs. Check the Dist. cap, more than likely water. Pull the rotor off and lift the magnetic pick up and plate, water can goof it up too. Check your plugs, if they're fouled, or smell like fuel. When starting put the peddle to the floor, that'll clear the injectors and stop it from flooding. Check fuel line pressure at the fuel bar. Not likely, but possible.
