adding cruise on 03 CL

I own a 2003 CL (base model) and I wanted to know if it were still possible to add options like cruise control and A/C. The reason I ask is because cruise control is not an option in the CL when buying it brand new but yet all three Golfs are exactly the same (powertrain, size, weight, length, etc.) and so I'm assuming they're all prewired for any additional options, right?
