Hello, may be you all can help me out.
I was trying to tune up my car yesterday (a 93 Civic) when i noticed that the second plug from the right to the left is stuck!
I couldn't get it to loosen up, at all, a friend of mine tried to help me but it still wouldnt come out.
We ended up leaving it alone but the mere fact that its there has been bugging me.
THe car drives nice... except for the fact that it turns off at top signs or red lights unless i keep on reving, but my question is...
How can i get that plug out?
Will i have to change anything?
Thankz,

Are you talking about the spark plug or the plug wire? Also does the sparkplug turn or is it not turning at all?
Need a little more info to help you.

I'm talking about the actual Spark Plug.
It turns (if major force is applied)
but it seems like it doesn't move at all, we think that the threads might have been crossed when they put it in.

Ouch! If that is true then you will have to find a way to get it out and then tap the hole and put in a helicoil. You better take it to a shop if you don't know what I am talking about, because if you don't know then you don't need to be doing it. Sorry to hear that man.

And I don't? The advice I gave him is dead on accurate. If you cross thread a sparkplug, then the threads are going to be destroyed and you will have to tap the threads and then install a helicoil, simple as that. Sorry but that is what needs to be done if the sparkplug was cross threaded..
need_fast_civic : it should not cost anymore than $100 at the most with labor. Should only take them 10-15 mins at the most. Hope it goes well for you.
