E38 Tv

I have a 1997/8 model 735iL. In HK BMW has blocked the TV screen so I only get to 'listen' to the TV. This is regardless of whether the car is stationery or moving. I have heard that there are programmes out in the big beyond that can unblock the screen. As the BMW dealer is unable to and unwilling to 'break' the law is there anyone out there that can help?
