Anyone with pedistal-mount monitor!!??

Wondering if anyone has a monitor with a pedistal-style mount? Where did you mount it? Does the pedistal look out of place and obtrusive? How hard was it? Got any pics? Thanks, I'm thinking about buying a monitor soon, and it will most likely have a pedistal mount.

I've seen them, and thought about it, but there's really no place you can put it where it wouldn't look stupid.
