I have a B16A2 JDM in a 1994 del sol what header is a good header to get dc spoon greddy for the price and what is the difference in 4-2-1- or 4-1 in terms of power and even though cermaic is cheaper dosnt it actually stop some of the heat so it would keep the engine bay cooler any way let me know thanx

First, please use punctuation in your posts. It sounds like a gibbering monkey when people post without complete sentences.
Second, what are you looking to do with the motor? The 4-1 is good for a more powerful motor and has better top end results, but you'll lose some mid-range torque. The 4-2-1 is better for less powerful motors and will maintain mid-range torque better. Question is, is your engine powerful enough to need a 4-1? I purchased a 4-2-1 for mine (B16A3) because one, it's still mostly stock and not powerful enough to warrant a 4-1, and two the B16A has little torque to begin with, so I don't want to lose even more when I install an aftermarket header.
Ceramic coated headers are typically a little better at keeping heat down than stainless steel, but the stainless steel won't rust. Take your pick. I bought the ceramic coated DC Sports for mine. Good performance for the price.

4-2-1 headers are the best for naturally aspirated engines. superchargers go with 4-1. look into Apex'i they make the best headers. Get the Civic type R one. OBX headers are cheaper and decent though

If you want real performance get a SMSP header. Be willing to throw down about $1200 for it and a 4 to 6 month wait. Its worth it all though. 12 to 14 HP at the wheel from a header. mmmmmm.

I have a DC SPORT 4-2-1 header that gave me about 10-12 horse at the crank I would say, GOOD investment, I am soon to wrap it with the heat lock exhaust crap, that looks like a fancy ace bandage. I hear that helps.

so you actually put your engine on an engine dyno to prove this.....I call :bs: unless i see some graphs. I am not saying that the header can't give those kind of gains, i am just doubting that you have substantial proof to back up your claims. And "b/c DCsport says" or "DCsports graph shows" is not substantial evidence.

andrew you also have to notice that he said "at the crank"... you can have an engine built that puts out 200 horses to the crank, but what matters is how much of that actually gets transferred to the wheels...

I noticed that he said at the crank, thats why i said, "so you put your engine on an "engine" dyno". :) There are not many ppl who go through the trouble of putting an engine on a dyno, esp. a honda.

DC Sports headers are good bang for the buck. They make good headers for a decent price. The heat wrap should help keep the heat down in your engine bay. Won't make any more power, but it'll keep the bay cooler so overheat isn't as risky.
The DC Sports doesn't really cause any issues even without heat wrap. My friend's Integra LS has a ceramic coated DC Sports 4-2-1 without heat wrap and he never had any issues (and he ran a 75-shot of nitrous through it occaisionally at the track).
