87 Town Car Sudden Cut off while Driving

My 87 Towncar was running fine but suddenly cut off. It would not start. Cranks good. The trunk fuel switch is OK. It made a small pop noise then cut off. Any Suggestions. The Car only has 22K origional miles on it.

a small pop?, check fuses under the dash, fuseable links, I don't know, is everything else functioning ok?

The pop sounds like a fuse blowing or a wire shorting to ground, must of been something important if it killed the engine.
