Reliability: talon vs eclipse

I was wondering which car with similar drivetrain and engine setups are more reliable. I'm looking to get a 2g dsm, and I've noticed that the talons of the same year are a few g's cheaper when compared with a similar eclipse. Is this difference only because Eagle is now no more? Or are the eclipses just more reliable? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ok let me re-phrase my question.
Is there any other reason, besides make and bodystyle, that talons are considerably cheaper than eclipses?

No theres no other reason. They both came out the same assembly line. so its exactly the same. Just the name, bumpers, and lights are different.

I think it maybe that people like the look of a Eclipse better then the talon. I do.

i think its also because alot of uneducated buyers either think the talon is a "domestic" and don't want it because of that or are scared off because the Eagle nameplate no longer exists and they don't think they can get factory support.

exactly of why i think people dont want it. They think its some cheap car or something.

I personally like the Talon better, and plus it's so much easier to find a stock TSI AWD then a GSX. So now my one question is cleared up I think I'll pick one up:biggrin:.

Plus I haven't seen anyone have a nice street talon in my area so I think it'll make a perfect sleeper:evillol:.
