93 MX6 Tail Light Lens Replacement

OK, How do you remove the tail light assembly on a 93 MX-6 ... you can see the one screw visible when the trunk is open ...

I'd like to be able to replace the broken lens ... or do you have to replace the assembly.

Changing the tail light bulbs: I assume once you pry that rubber boot out you can access the bulb ... is there a trick to doing that?

I admit I didn't spend a lot of time with the task today ... but sort of frustrated by it being a bit less than obvious!

the assembly slides out to the side....first remove the screws underneath the trunk/liscence plate....then slide the unit firmly to the left or right depending on whether you are removing the drive or passenger side....do not pull it assembly backwards as you will break the plastic studs that are holdin it into place...it should slip right out... ;--))
