lost keyless remote solution

I just registered on this forum, but have been following it for about 2 months when I bought my 2002 Trailblazer LS. I have found so much useful info here! I really wanted to pass along some of my own useful info about what happened when I lost the 2nd keyless remote to my truck. Called the dealer, and they wanted about $130.00 to replace it. Couldn't believe how much it was!!! Before I had them get it for me I decided to check Ebay for one. Believe it or not, I found a seller (user name mykeyless) that has a ton of different remotes for under $20.00 all makes and model vehicles. I took a chance and purchased it------well, it arrived 4 days after I won the auction and it also came with programming instructions. My husband programmed it today and it works great. Hope my info can help one of you out just like yours has helped me!

It always helps to check E-Bay. Found a remote for my wifes Altima SE & got it for like $20 shipped & the dealer reprogrammed it for free!


You might want to check your manual to see if that information is in there......or do a search on line through Google or something to find that info?
