Shit, nice looking Coupe, but gosh it looks funny when it's lowered on snow tyres, lol.
Yeah, it doesn't snow over here so I don't have to worry about snow tyres on my car :D

Hey is that you car! Do how do you get that to handle in the snow like that AND get tracktion from alot of power?!?
I just started posting in the 92-95 civic section about a civic winter car. What would one need to do do set it up fpr "ice" or "snow racing"??? I've seen this in a magazine ONCE so i know very little about ice racing - can you telll us alittle more about it?

The most important thing is ground clearance. I raised my car back up about 2". Although I was still on my Konis and Ground Controls for that event pic - it's not the best setup.
You want a suspension with alot of travel and to be soft and compliant. Two weeks after that event pic we returned to the same lot and it was ice. I thought my car was going to break.
You want the skinniest snow tires you can fit on your car to to dig through the snow. Tires with alot of sipping helps.
Also e-brake is your friend :) I never did an event like that and learned alot about vehicle control.
And yes that is me driving.

fiercecivic - Looks like you are leaking oil from the oil cap. What kind of snow tires do you use? CivicSiRacer - any chance making that picture a little smaller, or at least cropping it down a bit? Nice ride btw

thats from careless filling of oil. i was in a hurry last time i did a change and havnt clened the engine bay since. the tires are just cheap motomaster icetrak. theyve got a wicked tread though

omg lol, running snow tires when not in snow will eat your tires so fast. The rubber that is used in making snow tires is a lot softer than summer or all season tires so they wear really fast

You have to check with your local scca club http://www.scca.com
We have one near Frackville (little south of Scranton, PA; little north of Harrisburg/Hershey).
Why would it hurt? You have better traction with snow tires than street tires. Actually someone showed up in a Ford Focus SVT with his OEM tires and was stuck.
