When ever i am going all the way with my car when ever i go from 2nd to 3rd it feels like it dosent want to go in to 3rd i have to push it really harder than other gears to go in. when ever i did my 60k miles tune up last month they guy at the dealership told me that my trasmison oil is leaking but is not any big thing and it is in a place that they cant replace and if i want to fix it i have to go buy whole new transmison that costs about $5000.
What do u guys think is the problem and what should you do about it????

Ok, well if it doens't want to go into 3rd, that is probably a synchro...a common problem which is covered in the FAQ. You can also talk to youngvr4 who replaced a few synchros.
As far as leaking oil from the tranny...first off a new tranny in no way costs 5 grand, 3 grand at the most. That aside, the info you gave doesn't really help much with locating the leaking problem. If it is the transfer case, that is under recall, as they almost all leak at some point, and they can be fixed/replaced for free at any dealership. If it is leaking from somewhere else, then it could be a problem...but without more info, can't really diagnose the problem.
I suggest jacking up hte car and seeing if you can locate where the leak is...if you can, then go to stealth316.com, find the 'AWD drivetrain oil change' instructions(this might be in the FAQ...I don't remember) and use those pictures to show us where hte leak is coming from...otherwise take it to a mechanic you trust and have them try and locate the leak.

if you can put it into 3rd but you have to hold it in 3rd becasue the shifter will just pop right out, check your shift linkage bushing. My friends went bad on him, and he had to hold his shifter in first and 3rd or else the shifter would just go back into neutral. You can just buy a dsm replacement bushing for like 20 bucks, if this is the problem.

it basically holds the shifter from inside the car to the shift arm on the transmission, its basically located like right by the front intake pipe that leads to the front turbo, from what i remember.
