Putting flowmasters on a Prelude will not make it sound like a truck or muscle car. It'll still sound like an import.

the sound ur car produces is caused by ur engine. If u want to tune ur sound a bit i would get a magnoflow muffler with a 2.5 catbac system. Skunk2 has some good ones but theyre about $700

Acutally no, they're aren't made for classics. They have several models that are made for imports, classics, new muscle cars, trucks, and lots of other stuff. I don't think they make the specifically for the prelude, but they have a muffler that you could get with custom piping, if I recall correctly.

I guess I see what you're saying, but to me, when you think of flowmasters, you think of a big muscle car with a 426 hemi, you kno? lol, thats what flomasters are meant for in my opinion i guess

Wht are you trying to get at? Even if he put flowmaster's on his import, it would still sound like an import. Don't get the impression that putting "American Muscle" Mufflers on an import car will make it sound anything like a V8.
The sound of a car does not rely soley on the muffler. There is nothing you can do to make an import 4 banger sound like a V8. The reasons imports sound like they do is because of their low displacement, and super short stroke.
Flowmasters aren't mean for anything in specific. No muffler is meant for anything in specific. Say, you put a ricey Fartcan on a muscle car; It'll still sound like a muscle car.

ok, you took my comment the wrong way buddy. I meant that I couldn't see anyone putting flomasters on a newer ca, regardless of what it was, because in my mind, flomasters go with muscle classics, thats all. I never said anything about sound. I'm well aware that a muffler can't change the sound of your car. Don't jump down my throat man, I didn't even say anything about sound.

Yeah, he did take it a little wrong, but flowmasters are one of the leading exhausts to put on new cars, especially Mustangs and F-bodies.

If done right, the Magnaflow exhausts sound extremely good on the Prelude. Very low and LOUD tho...
