Hi, I'm new to this forum and I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem that I just noticed happening with my 2000 VW Golf GL
I was driving along no problems today, was coming to a stop sign and slowed down. Once I came to a complete stop, the car just shut off. I turned it back on and drove home, parked it in the driveway and it just ran fine. Decided to take it for a spin again and when I stopped this at a sign, it was okay, second sign, okay, third sign it died, when back home and stopped, it ran just fine again
Any idea of what this could be? Is it possible that this has something to do with the battery???
Please help, Thanks ! :-D

Is the check engine light on?
Yes the Engine Light is on.....From what I've gathered and from previous experience with this car,....I've come to believe that it is the Air Flow Sensor that is shot
Any clue???
Thanks
Jon

That is a very common problem on the 2000 model, but you should get it scanned first. You probably have auto parts chain stores that will loan or scan the car for free as in the US.
