I would guess that its a 2.73 for automatic and a bit lower for manual maybe 3.42 but im not sure about the manual gearing.
I changed my 2.77s out for 3.27s and they made a noticable difference and didnt kill my cruising rpms too bad. The highest I would have gone is 3.45s with my auto tranny though.

Get a 3.73, that's a good all around FDR for street and strip.

V6 camaro's usually came with 3:08 ratio, but you could have got 3:23's if it was a stick. 3:42 was only a V8 6 speed ratio... Depending on the year of your car check the RPO code list. It's located in the glove box on the 93-95 camaros's and on the drivers door on the 96-02 camaro's.
GU2 = 2.73
GU4 = 3.08
GU5 = 3.23
GU6 = 3.42
If you are changing your gear ratio on an automatic. I would go with 3.42's or 3.73's. Remember your speedo will be off until you reprogram your computer for the gear change.

if you have an auto you have 2.73 on the 94 3.4. i just put 3.42s on my 94 auto and my gas mileage wasnt affected at all. i cant notice a difference on the highway in terms of RPM (meaning its minimal, i know that it has to change) and the acceleration is a lot better. the 3.73s i think would be better cause i dont see them having too major of an effect on driveability. but if you are worried about gas and top speed, i would recommend 3.42s...
